BATIMAT EGYPT: A COMPELLING FIRST EDITION

Batimat Egypt was established to enable companies to harness all the business opportunities offered in a growing economy and booming market. The exhibition will take place in Cairo from 9 to 11 March 2017 and is already recognised as a key event.

A number of exhibitors
The partnership between Reed Expositions France, the world’s leading organiser of B2B and consumer events, and Arabian German for Exhibition & Publishing, the leading event organiser in the Middle East, is proving productive.
More than 400 exhibitors from North Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia have signed up for the first edition of the three-in-one construction exhibition.
Batimat Egypt is set to welcome 70 exhibitors, three-quarters of which are Egyptian companies and a quarter international companies.

Visitors from all over the Middle East
Batimat Egypt promises to be an invaluable business and networking forum for the 15,000 visitors expected during the three days of the exhibition.

“The outlook is extremely promising for this first edition of Batimat in Egypt; a number of companies have signed up and the growth prospects are significant,” says Guillaume Loizeaud, Construction Division Director, Reed Expositions France. “This is the first step on the road to expanding our business in the Middle East and we are already looking forward to welcoming exhibitors and visitors in 2018.”

Pavilion France: the Sustainable City Club
Alongside the exhibition stands, a French pavilion will host 23 subsidiaries of French companies that are members of the Egyptian Sustainable City Club. Founded under the aegis of the Economic Service of the French Embassy in Egypt, the purpose of the Club is to identify local needs and key decision-makers in urban development with a view to structuring and promoting what France has to offer.

The 23 companies in the Pavilion France will showcase their expertise in construction materials, urban mobility, public utilities and services and technological solutions in connection with smart cities: a tangible way of tackling the theme of Sustainable Cities and rally companies to get behind this issue.

Egypt Projects Summit: Egypt’s biggest construction industry event
Batimat Egypt is organised as part of the second Egypt Projects Summit. This three-day event brings together over 600 industry professionals, including engineers, manufacturers, designers, architects, importers, distributors and investors. The success of the Egypt Projects Summit lies in a varied, high-calibre programme of talks, keynotes and discussion forums to inform participants about current projects and reveal new technologies and solutions (programme available on https://www.egypt-projects.com/).

A unique opportunity to access a developing market
Against the backdrop of a highly favourable economic climate and a booming construction market in Egypt, Batimat Egypt is the event of choice for players in this sector.

Batimat Egypt was conceived as a gateway to this booming region, enabling all industry players to seize the opportunities created by this new demand and form long-term business partnerships,” says Guillaume Loizeaud.
